The purpose of these Data Protection and General Terms and Conditions is to show users and customers of finguide.ch clearly and transparently how FinGuide AG handles data and, in particular, which data is stored where and, if necessary, passed on. The current version of the Data Protection and General Terms and Conditions can be found on finguide.ch.
Data Protection Act
FinGuide AG consistently complies with the Swiss Data Protection Act when handling user data. In particular, the data provided by users will not be used for any purpose other than that intended by the user. Users of finguide.ch have the right to information about the data stored concerning them at any time. FinGuide AG refrains from creating personality profiles by linking data from various publicly accessible sources such as Facebook or LinkedIn. FinGuide AG also does not collect any particularly sensitive personal data in accordance with Article 3c of the Data Protection Act.
Storage of Data
FinGuide AG receives data from users on the basis of which the most suitable financial partner is identified. Accordingly, data forms the basis of FinGuide AG's business model, without which the service cannot be provided. FinGuide AG stores this data on servers in Switzerland and takes reasonable precautions to protect the data against attacks by third parties. The security of the hosting is audited annually in accordance with the international ISAE 3402 Type II standard.
Forwarding of Data
Based on the data entered, users can be assigned to the financial partner best suited to their needs. Two possible financial partners are suggested to the user during the advisory process. FinGuide AG makes the data provided by the user available to these two financial partners so that they can optimally prepare for discussions with finguide.ch users. This disclosure of data is in the nature of FinGuide AG's business and is in the interests of finguide.ch users. If a user does not agree to this disclosure of data, he or she can report this to FinGuide AG.
Remuneration and Banking Secrecy
The user is aware that the free advisory service is only possible thanks to remuneration from FinGuide AG's partners (banks and wealth managers). The remuneration paid to FinGuide AG is based on the amount of assets invested. In order for the remuneration to be calculated, the financial partner to whom FinGuide AG has referred its user in the individual case must be able to provide FinGuide AG with information on the amount of the assets. The user therefore releases his selected financial partner from banking secrecy vis-à-vis FinGuide AG.
