Would you like to attract customers who are a perfect match for your offering and your values? FinGuide will put you in touch with interested parties who are exactly looking for what you offer.

Requirements

  • Clear positioning: We work with private banks and independent wealth managers whose offering stands relative to the average provider in one or several dimensions.
  • Above-average returns over several years in several risk classes: We compare your net returns with a benchmark consisting of the average returns of asset management funds from UBS, CS and Swisscanto. You must outperform this by 60% (basis risk class per calendar year).
  • Certified performance: You are prepared to have your returns reviewed by the independent specialist firstfive You receive detailed quarterly analyses from firstfive that compare your performance with other providers on an anonymous basis. The best providers certified by firstfive appear once a year in a detailed feature in the BILANZ. magazine.
  • Fairness: FinGuide customers do not want advisors who sells them their own products in order to improve their bonus. If own products are used, they must either be institutional tranches or no management or advisory fee may be charged on the amount invested in own products.

Costs

  • FinGuide does not charge a fee for accepting partners. We want to work with the best providers in the market.
  • The review of the return on an investment strategy by firstfive costs between CHF 2,000 and CHF 5,000 per year. These costs depend on the number of strategies reviewed and the duration of the contract.
  • FinGuide's brokerage fee is exactly the same for all providers. It is calculated as a percentage of the brokered assets and spread over several years. The partners are not permitted to add the brokerage fee to the customer conditions. Customers referred by FinGuide must receive the same conditions as all other customers.

Referral Process

  • FinGuide maintains an extensive database with information about the providers. They must therefore be prepared to provide FinGuide with the requested data. This saves you time and resources in the customer acquisition process: you will only be involved in the process if you are one of the two top providers after FinGuide’s consultation with the customer.
  • As FinGuide customers visit two providers in person, the probability of closing a deal is generally 50%.
  • Once customers have decided in your favor, you take over the customer relationship.
  • FinGuide asks customers about their satisfaction at different times. Customer satisfaction is included in the database.
